Job Description: This position is responsible for providing leadership, consultation and professional expertise to employees, supervisors and managers regarding training and employee/team development. This includes developing, implementing and managing individual development and team involvement activities to ensure improved performance, employee engagement and maximum utilization of the District''s human resources.
Tasks Include:
Lead and advise District management, supervisors, and employees on work team development and team building, including diagnostic and intervention strategies, so that critical issues and work team initiatives are addressed and appropriate organizational change is managed most effectively.
Plan, develop, implement and evaluate individual training and development activities for all District employees so that skills, knowledge and abilities are in place and meet the human resource needs of the District''s workforce plan, work plans, performance management plans, and succession management plans.
Provide leadership, counseling and guidance to managers and supervisors regarding training and development methods and procedures; individual development planning; performance management issues and processes; and team conflict resolution.
Contribute to the management of the District by facilitating and/or participating in planning, problem solving, and decision-making teams so that organizational development issues are addressed.
Administer the District Training Program that ensures the record keeping, documentation, tracking and reporting of training and development activities.
Counsel and guide employees seeking career enhancement or advancement to ensure that they receive the necessary information regarding the educational resources and opportunities available to them.
Minimum
Qualifications: Three (3) years of professional training and development experience as a trainer in a work/business setting or educator in a post-secondary or secondary educational setting with responsibility for assessing needs, setting objectives, selecting methodology, designing content, conducting training sessions or education courses, and evaluating effectiveness.
(Equivalency: A Master''s degree in Training and Development, Organizational Development, Adult Education, Communications or closely-related field will count as one (1) year of professional experience; OR a Bachelor''s degree will count at six (6) months.)
Preferred
Qualifications: Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Training & Development, Human Resource Development, Instructional Technology, Organizational Development, Adult Education, Communications or closely-related field.
Understanding of department''s organizational and classification structure, and policies regarding training and development.
Supervisory or management experience in a professional setting.
Education/training/experience relevant to leadership/management, supervision or soft Skills development/training.
Training or experience in use and design of on-line learning courses and other non-traditional instructional media.
Advanced skill and/or certification in group facilitation methodologies.
Advanced skill in using competency models and designing competency-based learning programs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
