SQL Developer / Data Modeler
We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a SQL Developer / Data Modeler on a consulting to full time direct employee basis. In this role, the SQL Developer / Data Modeler will:
Provide data/process modeling services at the project level and above - using both operational and dimensional techniques as needed.
Draft business-driven data models at the conceptual and logical levels.
Design and maintain application code related to SQL Server including but not limited to stored procedures, triggers and views.
Maintain current and future models in a common modeling tool such as ERWin
Work collaboratively with client's teams to construct and manage optimized data structures.
Develop and maintain SQL Server objects.
Optimize existing and new SQL Server objects utilizing proven tuning methodologies.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
IT development experience focusing on modeling and structuring data in a SQL Server environment
Conceptual and logical data modeling in large-scale environments
Designing normalized, generalized operational (OLTP) data models.
Designing robust ETL processes according to best practices in complex environments.
T-SQL, SSIS and creating and debugging complex stored procedures.
