Summary:
Onsite Ab Initio Team Lead responsible for ensuring functioning of day to day activities between Onsite and Offshore.
Knowledge and
Experience:
o BE/MCA or any equivalent degree required
o 5
years of relevant experience in Ab Initio
o Knowledge in Banking Domain is preferable
o Experience in Offshore - Onsite Model is preferable
Skills and Competencies:
o 5
years of experience in working with Ab Initio as an ETL Tool. (For designers, 8+)
o Good working experience with all components of Ab Initio such as Scan, join, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup etc.
o Experience with various Ab initio parallelism techniques, Ab initio Graphs using Data, Pipeline & Component parallelisms
o Good working experience on generic graphs, continuous flows.
o Experience and expertise on SQL and Unix shell scripting
o Experience using any of the scheduling tools like Autosys, Control-M etc.
o Strong Data warehousing concepts good Analysis skills.
o Proficient interpersonal skills to be able to interface effectively with a broad range of contacts; from technical staff to management
o Knowledge of ACE, BRE, Metadata Hub is huge plus
Performance Tuning of graphs (Designer Role)
Major Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Ability to lead a team and having worked in an Onsite - Offshore Model. Ability to estimate work efforts. Co-ordinate with offshore team and get daily work assigned and get completed
o Ability to estimate work efforts and plan deliverables.
o Provide Daily/weekly status report to Customer and Internal Stakeholders.
o Co-ordinate with Customer to solve business and technical issues. Highlighting Risks at an early stage with mitigation plan
o Analyze and Understand Requirements from customer and create High level documents
o Create Ab Initio Graphs based on the requirements.
o Create test plans and capture test results.
o Should be able to contribute in creating documentation like Project end User Manual and Operations Hand off guide
o Perform other duties as assignedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
