We are looking for a Business Analyst based in Chester, VA!

Position Title: Business Analyst
Location: Chester, VA
Contract: 03-06 Months(Strong Possible Extension)
Job Description:
Business Analyst with experience in IT Cost strategies

Client desires to expand the customer base of a shared data service offering referred to as MITA. The application toolsets that reside on the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) platform include: Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Service Bus, and the Authentication Service, which is a centralized e-authentication solution for state agencies to set access privileges for citizen facing services and tools.
This resource will have:
-12 or more years experience in business analysis
-Experience with IT cost strategies. Cost strategy experience with IBM-based SOA products (e.g. WAS, WODM, WESB, WSSR, BPM, TIVOLI, and QAS Address Verification) is preferred.
-Significant experience in business writing
-Experience with recommendations and requirements development
-Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture; experience with IBM Websphere products is preferred
-Excellent oral and written communications
-Excellent customer interaction skills
-Working knowledge of IBM's Smart Cloud Cost Management (SCCM) system
- Having demonstrated an ability to create cost drivers out of SOA based data environments -Understanding of Federal cost allocation model
