Requirements:
CDL drivers need to meet the following to be considered for our Class A CDL Driver position:
2 years of professional driving experience
Possess a valid and current CDL Class A license
Possess or be willing and able to acquire a TWIC card
Able and willing to complete a background and motor vehicle driving record check
Responsibilities:
Drivers are responsible for loading dry bulk (typically plastic pellets), transporting the load to customers, and unloading at customer facilities. Specific duties for CDL drivers include but are not limited to:
Safely operate trucks on public roads, Customer property and Company property
Follow all loading and safety procedures. This includes hooking transfer hoses between pneumatic trailers and rail cars or silos and supervising product transfer using a blower. Climbing a trailer or railcar may be necessary
Handle DOT, customer, and Company paperwork
Act as a professional Company representative at all timesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
