Summary: We are currently in search of an experienced Cargo Tank Mechanic for a leading transportation services company that operates throughout the U.S.
Cargo Tank Mechanic Position
Responsibilities:
Work on 307, 407 and 412 tanks
Interprets work orders and technical manuals
Repairs or replaces defective parts, components or systems
Tests repaired equipment for proper performance and ensures that the work meets manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations
Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of the components parts and systems.
Inspect equipment used
When applicable use welding skills.
Other duties may be assigned
Qualified Candidates For The Cargo Tank Mechanic Position Will Have Met The Following:
Required:
HM183 technician with at least 3 years of experience
Mig and tig welding experience
Must have own tools
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Preferred:
Inspection license
TMT experience
Working Conditions:
Shop, office, yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 20 to 50 lbs., at least once a day.
