Regional Merchandising Manager - Meat, Produce and Operations
oCollaborate to establish and coordinate execution of the perimeter as well as regional variations to promotions and selling efforts for Meat, Produce and Perimeter Merchandising in both Corporate and Licensed stores
o Plan, coordinate and participate in training efforts in their Business Unit for both Corporate and Licensed stores; take the lead role ensuring District Managers are knowledgeable in Merchandising the perimeter and in perishable operations
o Lead efforts to work with licensed customers, coordinating efforts with District Managers and Retail Business Unit Directors, to improve purchase concentration
o Ensure Food Safety and sanitation standards are maintained consistently in all stores and that Food Safety issues are immediately addressed with licensed operators. Track and record instances of concern and resolution
o Manage and direct the Perishable Counselor to successfully support meat cutting and produce operations in licensed stores. Work to train, develop, assist, and counsel Perishable staff in stores
Qualifications/Skills:
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
o Minimum 6-10 years multi-unit management or comparable experience
o Strong knowledge of retail meat, produce and perimeter operations and the ability to sell these programs
o Knowledge and practice of food safety and sanitation regulations and requirements
o Ability to speak to and train individuals or groups on all aspects of perishable operations
o Knowledge of retail operation metrics and shrink controls
o Experience & knowledge of Latino culture & shopping habits
o English/Spanish Bi-lingual candidates preferred
o Leadership experience with a ethnic-focused format or chain preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
