Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., a national leader as a securities broker/dealer, has an opening in Operations for a full time Brokerage Operations Supervisor.
This position consists of directing, supervising and maintaining all aspects of the NFS operations and Pershing operations departments, including but not limited to the duties and responsibilities listed below:
Supervise, train and develop the staff of the NFS operations and Pershing operations and team leads.
To interface and make recommendations to management on upgrades and enhancements for the NFS & Pershing operations departments.
Manage departmental and interdepartmental projects assigned by management and developed by the Operations Leadership Team.
Professional presentation to administrative workshop participants including but not limited to Registered Representatives and home office staff as directed by management.
Report to the Manager of Operations and other members of management on activities and status of the NFS & Pershing departments
Coordinate the accurate and timely disbursement of operations information from sponsor companies, clearing firms and other industry sources to the registered representatives or clients as necessary
Assist in the rollout of any new products and services offered to Advisors by the firm or other industry sources as necessary
Assist NFS and Pershing staff with complex/escalated service issues
Establish and ensure maintenance of department quality measurements and report to Manager of Operations on any department deficiencies.

Other duties as assigned
This position requires a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience. FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 licenses are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Typing 40 wpm.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
