In this role, the qualified applicant will apply a high degree of technical knowledge and motivation to build new robust, scalable web applications, as well as improve existing applications that support our external web presence at www.analog.com. Experience with the .NET programming language and some real-world programming experience as well as SQL and general database design/development experience is required.
The ability to quickly learn and implement new emerging technologies will further contribute to success in this position.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Work with business and program management team to clarify and document specifications
Under the supervision of Senior developers within the team, develop and verify performance and functionality of web applications
Perform unit and load tests against each solution to ensure proper performance and efficiency guidelines are met.
Collaborate closely with business groups, IT development teams, and system administration team to ensure successful implementation of each solution.
Qualifications
Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 6 years related and progressive experience.
Minimum 3 years demonstrable success as a .NET web developer
Understanding of OOP, MVC, ORM concepts
Experience with Javascript, AJAX, Jquery or other javascript libraries
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related technologies
Database experience (MS SQL in particular) is required
strong verbal and written communication skills
This position will have responsibility for collaboration with off shore resources.
Additional Desired Skills:
Experience in presentation layer using CSS/JS and HTML
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies
Knowledge of UML is a plus
