Current Need
Staff Counsel, Connected Care & Analytics (MCCA)
Position Description
Manages legal business matters pertaining to the organization. Provides a variety of general corporate and commercial legal services to a number of in-house clients. Acts as advisor on legal issues involving the organization''s government and regulatory compliance. Reviews legal data and advises organization on appropriate legal action to be taken. Coordinates legal matters handled by outside counsel. Demonstrates experience in general corporate matters.
Minimum Requirements
15
years of experience providing legal counsel to clients.
Critical Skills
In-depth knowledge of corporate organizations
Thorough knowledge of securities compliance
Expertise at drafting transactional documents and technology license agreements
Comprehensive understanding of new business/joint venture structures, regulatory matters, risk management, and contract management.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to provide sound, clear legal advice to clients
Aptitude to work well with larger team in seeking efficiencies for legal support
Ability to manage simultaneous projects in an efficient and timely manner
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and advanced knowledge of the law
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Ability to advice on legal issues dealing with trade secrets, advertising law, registration, and other resolutions which may include the computer and technology industry, healthcare and SEC reporting.
In-depth legal knowledge that allows for expeditious problem identification and resolution
Notable business acumen dealing with risk management and organizational savvy
Education
Juris Doctor Degree with excellent academic credentials. Member of a jurisdiction is required.
