As a result of our successful project awards, our Pipelines group is rapidly expanding. Therefore, HMM is seeking qualified staff to join our team.
Job Description Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
oSupervise and assign work to field crews for natural gas pipeline projects.
oDay to day coordination between client and field crews.
oCollect, download, and submit survey data from crews on a daily basis.
oReview and submit field crews' Daily Survey Report Time and Expense Sheets.
oMonitor survey supplies and equipment and coordinate with office to order or have repaired as needed.
oHave a working contact with clients, contractors, and field and office personnel.
oUnderstand and adhere to all safety guidelines.
oConduct daily safety meetings and report any incidents as required.
Candidate Specification The ideal candidate will possess the following:
. Louisiana PLS is required.
o5-7 years of field surveying experience, including experience as a Party Chief running 2-4 person crews.
o2
years of experience supervising field crews.
oStrong knowledge of land surveying practices and techniques.
oThorough working knowledge of robotic total station, data collector, and GPS equipment.
oExperience in both conventional and GPS survey and data processing.
oExperience in survey data collection and processing, and working with coordinate systems.
oExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and /or Carlson, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office programs.
oStrong leadership, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
oAbility to develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, contractors, and field and office personnel.
oExperience in the oil or gas industry is strongly preferred.
