Looking for an aide in our Supported Living Program(s). The aide will be responsible for ensuring participants receive Supported Living Services are being followed and documented according to the IP. Attends activities with clients as scheduled. Completes all daily progress notes and daily communication books. Assists coordinator and co-workers in maintaining the upkeep of house and yards.

Required Skills
Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
Overnight, weekend work or shift variations will be required
Able to lift and/or assist participants
Easter Seals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain's policy requires all employees to be free and clear of T.B. evidenced by a negative Tine Test or chest X-ray within 30 days of employment start date.
Utilizing proper body mechanics, applicant must have the ability to lift supplies, equipment and clients. As detailed below, applicant must perform a variety of physical tasks because of the special needs of participants in this area. These physical tasks include but are not limited to the following.
Pushing wheelchairs during evacuation, as well as daily during area changes.
Assisting participants to use walkers, crutches.
Ensuring workers' safety during seizures-lifting them to floor or chair, moving them to a safe area.
Intensive Physical Therapy regimes prescribed by a physician such as; range of motion exercises, utilization of various OT/PT material/equipment.
Moving equipment/material handling-up to 50# boxes, tables, chairs, retrieving materials from overhead shelves.
Assisting participants to use restrooms-transferring on and off stool.
Participating as needed in emergency behavior management techniques such as physical restraints and other aggression control techniques such as those written as a part of a deceleration plan. Knowledge of and use of Mandt techniques when the need arises.
Yearly TB testing
Required Experience
Experiences working with persons with developmental disabilities required.
Program development and implementation required.
Behavior managerial expertise preferred.
Knowledge of CARF standards preferred.
Must pass a background Check.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
