Technician 1 (Data Center Operations)

The Technician 1 position works in the Primerica Data Center in both the tape and print rooms and is expected to learn the delivery routes and deliver output on a regular basis. The Technician 1 is responsible for operating the printers, printing all output in accordance with established service level agreements, handling special print requests, handling inbound and outbound tape media, calling for service on all equipment in the operations area, and following-up as needed. The position is a rotating 3 day (36 hour) 7am-8pm day shift which includes holidays and weekends. Salary in the low $20's.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School diploma or GED required
Ability to easily lift at least 40 pounds
Ability to multi-task
Microsoft Office skills required
Some knowledge of Mainframe and Xerox printers is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter
Ability to work with minimal supervision
