Overall Purpose/Job Objective:
The Computer Lab Technician is responsible for assisting students by providing hardware and software support in a laboratory setting. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Prior customer service experience.
Experience working in a computer lab or other similar environment requiring technology support of end-users.
Familiarity with personal computers, their operating systems and associated software applications.
Experience with supervising and training hourly employees.
Experience in troubleshooting computer hardware/software problems and resolve or refer for maintenance and repair.
