DEPARTMENT COORDINATOR
Select Positions within a Malcolm Baldrige Award Winning Hospital!
Under general supervision, provides secretarial support and administrative assistance for a fast-pace laboratory environment, requiring an exercise of discretion and judgment on occasion for Administrator(s) and their areas of administration. Answers phone calls, handles and picks up specimens - must be proficient on computers.
## Qualifications
Requirements include:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Courses in business administration or office management. Prior work experience progressively more responsible, preferably with customer service background.
Strong Microsoft experience, this includes Word, Excel and Access. PowerPoint strengths are also essential.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
Requires effective oral and written communication skills to communicate with customer, physicians, visitors and family members.
Must be proficient on computers.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
