We seek a qualified candidate to join the licensing unit of our Law & Governmental Affairs department. The role of our business development executives, account managers and adjusters and their licensure is of critical importance to FM Global. You will liaise with these FM Global employees in all aspects of obtaining and maintaining their licenses, using tools such as PCRM (Producer Compliance Requirements Management) and/or NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry). As part of a dynamic and innovative legal department, you may also be called upon to learn other skills as a matter of collaboration and cross training.
Qualifications include at least a HS degree and 2-4 years experience in producer and adjuster licensing; in-depth knowledge of insurance licensing processes (including E-Pal, PCRM, NIPR, PDB; general knowledge of licensing laws that govern the sale, solicitation and servicing of FM Global products. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access) and exceptional organization skills with strict attention to detail is required.
Position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills since daily interaction with state insurance departments and producers will be required. A strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks as the work is deadline driven. Access to employee confidential information must also be treated with the utmost care and discretion.
