Bowhead is looking an Electronics Technician is perform day-to-day maintenance of multiple simulated submarine training devices in a classified training environment.

The Electronics Technician will be responsible for:
The test performance of electromechanical assemblies using test instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, or bridges.
Reading blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
Installing electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
Aligning, fitting, or assembling component parts, using hand or power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes.
Inspecting parts for surface defects.
Analyzing and recording test results, and prepare written testing documentation.
Verifying part dimensions or clearances to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
Operating metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, or fixtures.
Repairing, reworking, or calibrating hydraulic or pneumatic assemblies or systems to meet operational specifications or tolerances.
Training others to install, use, or maintain electro-mechanical subassemblies.
Following all company, DoD, and industry safety standards while performing all duties on site.
Following all company Quality SOP''s while performing all duties on site.

Physical demands: Position will be in a submarine survival school training environment and require lifting, bending, climbing ladders,heights and working in water. The work environment will be in a 50/50 mix of a heated, cooled, and outdoor elements.
Required Skills
Strong background in Windows Microsoft Office.
Manage and perform maintenance in a classified environment
Managed and perform maintenance on DoD Simulation Devices
Qualified Electronics Technician.

Desired Skills:
Familiarity with US Navy 3-M system a plus.

Security Clearance: Must be able to maintain a clearance at the SECRET level.
Required Experience
Associate s Degree and 2-5 years of directly related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
