Under general direction, supervises the activities of the Revenue Accounting section involved with revenue distribution, invoice processing, distribution discrepancies, and payment to outside vendors.
Essential Duties:
Plans and directs the activities/workloads of staff.
Assumes the duties of and assists staff members as necessary.
Responds to inquiries concerning revenue distribution.
Acts as a liaison between Revenue Accounting and other departments, agents, customers, etc.
Ensures compliance with Headquarters and Federal/State policies and regulations.
Assists in the preparation of budgets and maintains appropriate fiscal controls.
Assumes the duties of other area management in their absence.
Performs staff evaluations and reviews.
Required Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration.
Four or more years of relevant business experience.
Highly effective analytical, decision-making, and written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to investigate complex business problems, develop effective recommendations, negotiate and/or present solutions, and resolve problems in a highly professional and tactful manner.
Highly organized and able to set priorities effectively.
Ability to access, enter, modify, and retrieve data on a PC.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language and compose correspondence.
Visual acuity sufficient to accurately review and proof information.
Preferred Additional
Qualifications:
Lead or supervisory experience.
Experience in the transportation industry.
Thorough knowledge of the Revenue Accounting Department procedures and UniGroup.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
