The Manager Learning I will be responsible for providing day to day leadership to a team of contract trainers focused on concrete skills related to operation processes, and ensures consistency and quality of work outputs. Responsible for managing relationships with multiple vendors to ensure business goals are achieved for an enterprise function.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Manages a team of Performance Solutions' contract trainers responsible for the delivery of learning solutions to meet client needs and objectives.
Manages the day-to-day execution of vendor agreements to ensure compliance
Partners with the Director to develop and implement market or business segment training strategy that aligns with the departmental/enterprise Performance Solutions strategy.
May participate in fact-based negotiations of agreements and/or participate or lead cross-functional teams to implement vendor services
Provides feedback, coaching and mentoring of associates. Models professional and leadership behaviors. Develops and implements training for team.
Expert at thinking analytically and is comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
Expertly consults and solves complex learning solutions including: identifies client training needs, successfully uses performance consulting to analyze data and identify root cause to determine appropriate learning solutions, develops service level agreements and meets with clients to obtain approval. Mentor and coach others in developing these skills.
Measures, tracks and evaluates learner and client satisfaction.
Cultivates positive, professional and interpersonal relationships with both internal and external business partners to implement successful learning solutions. Mentor and coach others in developing these skills.
Thinks and acts globally and possesses the ability to understand learning and cultural differences both domestically and globally to drive learner effectiveness. Mentor and coach others in developing these skills.
Act as a change advocate by introducing, embracing and managing change. Mentor and coach others in developing these skills.
Brings proven ability to manage time in ways that ensures effective management and execution of competing priorities.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
The Manager Learning II will be responsible for ensuring successful implementation of high-quality performance solutions to WellPoint and/or specific clients.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Manages a team of Performance Solutions associates responsible for the delivery of learning solutions to meet client needs and objectives.
Consults with clients to understand strategic objectives.
Oversees the consistent practice of performance consulting with clients to identify the root causes of performance gaps.
Ensures alignment of local efforts with Enterprise strategic objectives.
Oversees the formulation of teaching outlines, instructional methods, and/or teaching aids.
Ensures courses and other educational information support the overall business objectives.
Oversees the utilization of performance consulting skills in the development of training materials for associates.
May conduct training sessions for clients or Performance Solutions associates.
Oversees the implementation of effective training feedback mechanisms to improve training programs and to assess the impact of the investment made in training.
Responsible for the development and implementation of market or business segment training strategy that aligns with the departmental/enterprise Performance Solutions strategy.
Proactively identifies and diagnoses business issues and determines high-level performance improvement needs.
Serves as a mentor and coaches newer Learning Mangers.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
