Required Skills:
Strong Linux server experience
Unix / Linux / RedHat / Centos should have experience with one of these platforms.
Supported a 24x7 enterprise environment
Experience working in an ASP or ISP environment (or equivalent 24x7 IT environment)
Basic scripting, Bash, Shell, Unix, Python or other
Knowledge of database technologies with experience with MySQL andor Microsoft Sql Server
Advanced knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios, SCOM, Solar winds, etc
Basic tcp/ip networking knowledge and troubleshooting
Responsibilties:
Support Linux operating systems
Monitor alerts mailbox and Event Management systems for Events and follow KB articles for resolution actions, performing functional escalations to on-call resources as needed
Monitor Application dashboards for indications of Incidents
System patching and standard changes following prescribed documentation
Document and communicate system status per process definitions
Escalation point and mentor for Tier 1 Ops Analysts
Manage prioritization of Events
Execute routine checklists to validate system functionality and batch process completion
Invoke Incident Management process for Event driven Incidents that cannot be resolved within this team

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
