This Central Georgia Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC fellowship trained stroke Neurologist, needed to educate, treat and provide interventions on stroke patients in our service area.
Join a growing advance primary stroke program
Stroke call to be separate from general call; however there is expectation of covering some general back up calls.
Focus is inpatient cerebrovascular consults
Currently we do not perform neuro-interventional procedures but are working towards this ability.
Employed contract consisting of guaranteed base salary
WRVU bonus potential, comprehensive benefits package, paid occurrence based malpractice, PTO, CME as well as several other negotiable incentives being offered.

This center includes two Medical and Surgical facilities of 258 beds and 103 beds, and a 44 bed Adult Psychiatry Hospital, in a Central Georgia community of 156,000.
This is an employed opportunity. This Medical Center has received the Gold-Plus recognition by the American Stroke Association and has a tele-Neurology relationship with the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta which provides 24 hour coverage.
