The Chief of Staff serves as a key member of the ILI Technology Organization executive team. The incumbent supports the CIO and CIO's direct reports in driving initiatives and keeping projects on track, and will have deep involvement in the ILI Technology Organization as well as broad exposure to Service Delivery strategies and operations. The position is responsible for critical activity coordination, meeting preparation and facilitation and other strategic and administrative duties in support of the CIO and the CIO's executive team, including oversight and management of ILI Technology Communications and Financial Reporting and Metrics. Additionally, this position assists senior leaders in determining the direction of current and future developments in the group, utilizing in-depth knowledge of industry and technological alternatives and directions, business systems and requirements; works closely with leaders and team to recommend innovations which enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. Gathers and/or provides feedback to project management on issues which could impact allocation of resources and/or impact strategic direction of group.
Critical Activity Coordination
Develops and maintains an inventory of critical activities in which the CIO is interested and/or for which her awareness
and involvement is essential.
Works with the CIO executive team to align their actions and communications in support of agreed upon goals. Works
with all staff to ensure that the CIO's needs are conveyed, that progress is being made in a timely way, and that any
demands on CIO's schedule are understood and appropriately managed.
Keeps track of organizational accomplishments for purposes of reporting within SDO and beyond.
Key Meeting Preparation/Facilitation
Drives scheduling, agenda management and preparation for all key CIO executive meetings.
Anticipates meeting/presentation needs and works to fulfill them.
Confirms objectives for meetings and recommends participants and best approach.
Helps ensure participants are aware of and prepared for meetings.
Attends meetings, captures major takeaways, and works with executive team to ensure follow up.
Other Duties
Keeps CIO informed of activities within Technology, Service Delivery, the broader ILI business and GBTS.
Reviews documents sent to CIO and other documents and articles of interest; prepares briefs and action plans or strategic
inputs as necessary.
Assists the CIO and executive team on special projects.
Identifies needs and manages projects from start to finish.
Creates all relevant materials, letters, documents and presentations as assigned.
Manages confidential information and exercises discretion.
Qualifications
Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to develop talking points and PowerPoint presentations for delivery to internal and external groups.
Organizational skill with demonstrated attention to facts and detail.
Exceptional organizational awareness and the ability to analyze and brief senior leaders on key concepts.
Effective project management skills and extraordinary drive for results.
Understanding of common budgeting practices and variance analysis and reporting; strong understanding of business
management practices and business analytics
Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees and business relations with a spirit
of flexibility.
Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills; background in technology, preferred.
Knowledge of the Prudential Life Insurance business, preferred.
Project ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
