Director of Sales of Hotel position Interviewing now! FULL/SELECT/LUXURY service hotel with outstanding growth and stability has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, results oriented Director of Sales. Define what success means to you and we will help make it happen!
Position includes direct management of Hotel's Sales Department and support staff. Ideal candidate will need a minimum of 4 years current Director of Sales experience. Other requirements include:
Experience selling and managing a variety of market segments and key accounts.
Actively participate in industry and community related organizations
Strong background in selling rooms and banquet / meeting space.
Thorough knowledge of performance based sales techniques with current strategies.
Aggressively pursue new accounts on a consistent basis.
Demonstrated track record of developing long term business relationships.
Superior communication and presentation skills.
Working effectively with all hotel departments.
Promoting a team sales approach.
Ability to sell concepts and ideas to management, peers, and employees.
Hospitality degree and local market knowledge a plus.
