Responsibilities The part-time Office Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Student Activities office by managing front desk duties, office supplies, coordinating various student services and programming as well as greeting guests and overseeing staff schedules. This position reports to the Student Engagement Program Coordinator. Duties 1. Manage duties of the Student Activities office front desk and the Beamer Student Center: a. Welcome people/students to the office and provide inviting, professional atmosphere for those visiting. b. Supervise student receptionist/front desk staff including all hiring, training, scheduling and payroll c. Open, sort, and distribute mail d. Manage Beamer Student Center key access, Tower Bell reservations, and Student Activities office equipment check-out e. Supervise Beamer Student Center night watch staff including all hiring, training, scheduling and payroll f. Monitor and manage various Beamer Student Center resources such as game room equipment, ATM, computer kiosks and fireplaces g. Assist in coordinating the calendar and schedule for the Student Activities office and the Dean for Student Engagement 2. Manage supplies, purchases and inventory a. Order and inventory office supplies b. Monitor and manage office photocopier as well as general purpose photocopier in the Beamer Student Center c. Inventory and organize student programming storage closets, project room and office equipment d. Process check requests, work orders and various office forms as needed for office management e. Make 25Live room reservations as needed f. Complete special projects and other assignments as requested by the Student Engagement Program Coordinator 3. Coordinate Chapel attendance administration a. Maintain knowledge and understanding of the Chapel Attendance Policy and how to apply it to the Chapel Warning, Probation, and Dismissal stages of chapel attendance violations. b. Manage the Chapel Access and Banner databases including timely data entry of all excused absences, working with the Instructional Technology Department for utilization standards, and the Chaplain's Office for properly managing attendance issues. c. Issue all chapel seat assignments, communicate with all students regarding seat changes for special Chapel services (e.g. Wheaton Connection, decentralized Department and Class chapels, and Edman Chapel stage extension requests). d. Train and assist student chapel checkers and door monitors. 4. Coordinate various student services a. Manage publicity and advertising practice, guidelines, reservations and policies for Beamer Student Center and campus at large (poster approval as well as various advertising locations) b. Coordinate Beamer Student Center display table reservations and display case promotional use c. Oversee the Student Activities Office Group Airport Shuttle service, including partnering with off-campus shuttle service, customer communication, registration portal, student staff and campus record keeping. d. Organize the bi-annual Lost and Found Sale e. Provide administrative support for the Student Leadership recruitment and hiring process f. Manage all student employment paperwork for various student organizations within the Student Activities office g. Manage Student Activities Office student access information (key cards, computer accounts, printing) h. Compile and distribute the annual Student Activities office student leader list 5. Accept additional responsibilities as requested by the Student Engagement Program Coordinator. Qualifications 1. Strong computer skills (MicroSoft Office) 2. Personable disposition for interfacing with students, parents, and campus offices and strong communication skills 3. Multi-tasking abilities 4. Detail oriented and strong organizational skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
