The ACL will be responsible, under the direction of the Clinical Leader, to ensure that clinical operations and service expectations are met on a shift to shift basis. The ACL also serves as a shift coach for staff to ensure defined levels of personal professionalism are maintained in support of achieving operational, clinical and service goals.Supports the Clinical Leader in the management of human resources.Participates in staff evaluations and progressive discipline. Participates in staff satisfaction monitoring and activities.Manages conflict at the unit level.Responsible for mentoring new staff and new graduate nurses either individually or through an assigned preceptor.Work directly with staff on the unit to ensure compliance with patient care and service problem resolution. This involves: a. Observing for staff engagement with patients/families and other staff. b. Modeling and coaching staff toward clinical and service expectations rather than resolving these issues for them. c. Monitoring and reporting to Clinical Leaders trends that might indicate an individual staff member is struggling.Serves as a liaison to Clinical Educators - ensuring new clinical processes are adopted and provides feedback to clinical education if concurrent training is failing to translate.Monitors and manages patient and staff interactions to ensure unit strategies such as hourly rounding, bedside change of shift, and pain management are consistently executed.Serves as a shift liaison to Case Management ensuring timely discharges occur as planned.Monitors for compliance with Core Measure documentation and compliance.Works directly with staff to assure adequate hand off occurs between shifts and between departments. Assures appropriate communication with COC, AOC, case management, peers and other departments.
Bachelor''s prepared RN preferred or associates nurse pursuing a bachelor''s degree from an accreditated school. One to three years of experience in an acute care setting and supervisory experience. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
BLSis required for any RN, LPN, PCT, Patient Transporter or other direct patient care provider. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, PACU, Medical Emergency Team and Anesthesia require ACLS. Pediatrics, SICU, Emergency Department and Medical Emergency Team also require PALS.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
