Responsibilities for the Production Supervisor
Knowledge of all jobs in the department to include ability to instruct others on how to perform jobs
Participate in cross-functional teams to acquire overall business knowledge
Manage up time, changeover, and adherence to cycle time
Supervise and train associates, monitor the Time and Attendance system, and recommend disciplinary action
Lead and coordinate any lean initiatives on shift and throughout facility
Requirements for the Production Supervisor
Bachelors degree with at least three years supervisory experience in a heavy manufacturing (machining preferred) facility
Demonstrated knowledge of lean / continuous improvement experience
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to include proficiency with MS Office Suite
