Bill Stasek Chevrolet is looking for an Experienced Automotive Service Writer.
Bill Stasek Chevrolet is a premier Illinois Chevrolet dealer serving the Chicago area. We are looking to add an experienced automotive service writer to our team.
Experienced Service Writers are tasked with recommending maintenance based upon the manufacturers mileage intervals and sell repairs.
DUTIES OF SERVICE WRITERS:
Positively and energetically greeting customers as they arrive
Completing service write ups
Selling recommended maintenance and repair work
Follow-up with customers on declined work
Effectively managing the service lane
Working closely with extended warranty companies.
QUALIFIED SERVICE WRITERS:
-Must have some level of instructor led automotive training (e.g. high school automotive, vocational, college, technical school, OEM, etc.)
-Must have at least 2 years previous service writing experience.
-Must have working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
-Must have a professional appearance, great communication skills, and can sell/recommend service.
- A history of excellent CSI scores and ADP experience is a
-Must have valid drivers license, and clean driving record
