BAE Systems in Newport, RI, is seeking a Logistics Analyst who will analyze and coordinate integrated logistics support activities for maintenance, repair, overhaul and production of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical/electronic systems, units and lowest repairable units.
There is no relocation assistance available for this position. If relocation is necessary, theselected candidate must be willing to relocate at his/her own expense.
Primary duties will be in support of material requirements and purchasing Logistics to include: analysis of customer sales orders, Bill-Of-Materials and inventory to analyze and coordinate material acquisition requirements.
Duties may include: develop, process and status material acquisition work orders; develop and status purchase requisitions; collect and process vendor invoicing and coordinate Purchase Order Close-out; data-base transactions.
Although not required, candidates who possess an active DoD Secret security clearance, who have experience with Navy logistics programs and who have recent experience with NUWC NPT, will be given highest priority.

Must have the following education/skills/
Experience:
High School diploma or GED and at least 4 years of related and recent professional work experience
Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required)
Experience with integrated logistics support principals, configuration management and acquisition processing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred skills/
Experience:
Experience with Microsoft Office products including MS Access, MS Excel and MS Word
Experience with commercial and government data base programs including but not limited to InventoryPro or equivalent and Master Control or equivalent
Experience with Navy Logistics programs
Recent experience with NUWC NPT

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
