Job Description
Law Firm is seeking a Plaintiffs PIP Legal Assistant.
The right candidate should be able to effectively:
Communicate and correspond with clients about the progress of the case.
Aid attorney inpreparation of multiple discovery requests.
Maintain up-to-date status on a high volume case load.
Sort and prioritize daily correspondence
Job Requirements
Experience Required:
Applicant MUST have prior Plaintiffs personal injury and/or PIPexperience (at least 2 years/+), and/or paralegal/legal assistant education
Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and handle a heavy case load.
Multitask while maintaining organization.
Client profiles/Aderant experience is a plus, but not required.
Must be professional and reliable.
Must be able to hit the ground running and work autonomously.
Must have strong written excellent verbal communication skills.
Must be proactive, professional, highly motivated and a fast learner.
Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).
Must have prior experience in Personal Injury Protection Cases.
Must work well with colleagues - Have a positive attitude; can work independently and as part of a team.
Must have experience preparing witness and exhibit lists, preparing cases for trial and managing trial calendars.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
