Summary: Under the general supervision of the Mental Health Clinical Supervisor, the Mental Health Therapist offers assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions to meet client driven goals which assist with managing mental health symptoms and psychosocial issues. Provides clinically based and empirically supported therapeutic interventions and care coordination to facilitate the stabilization and management of mentally ill clients and assists in the identification of appropriate utilization of resources across the continuum of care. The therapist works collaboratively with interdisciplinary staff internal and external to the organization. Participates in quality improvement and evaluation processes related to the overall management of clients care in the community mental health setting. Delivers direct service to clients in the form of individual, family, and group therapy. Works with a variety of ages and presenting problems.
REQUIREMENTS : Master''s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Human Services and must meet the WAC qualifications for a Mental Health Professional. Must also have one of the eight counselor credentials with the DOH or be licensed in the State of Washington. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
