Length of W-2 Contract Assignment: 12
month initial, renewable assignment
Locations: Charlotte, NC
Pay Rate: $ Market Rate $ /Hour W-2 Maximum with all requirements (Straight W-2, no relocation assistance, no expense reimbursement, no benefits)
Corp-Corp Rate: No Corp-Corp, No Third Party, Client does not support H1B or EAD

Description:
IT PM for the IT PMO to work in the Energy Supply Applications IT project manager needed to join the Nuclear & Trading project management team.
Multiple opportunities/projects are available in this space. Specifically looking for someone to help guide the remaining 2014 and 2015 roadmap of Renewables Generation work.
This would consist of a more strategic / analysis type work than standard application projects. It will span multiple IT and business areas to understand current activities / practices and how the Renewables group may leverage that.
There are also multiple endorsed application software projects that are set to begin early June.
The expectation is this PM may take on multiple projects.
>Develops and actively executes an application project work plan on an in-flight project and manage as appropriate to meet schedule milestones >Skilled in project financial management including planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting actuals to plan >Ensures project artifacts are complete, current, and stored appropriately. >Holds regular status meetings with project team >Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors. >Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. >Effectively applies Project methodology and enforces project standards. >Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. >Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
Requirements:
4 year degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. (minimum high school diploma) 8 or more years of experience showing a demonstrated competency in Project Management Directly managed vendor contracts / SOW's Demonstrated MS Project schedule management on previous project Strong project management methodology background - especially Waterfall and Iterative approaches Competent in business requirement gathering and fit gap analysis Desired skills: Accenture Delivery Methods (ADM) experience MS Project Server 2010 Utility/Nuclear experience PMP Certification
