JOB SUMMARY
Participates as a member of the health care team by providing assistance in direct patient care as directed by the RN; the core values of Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety and Respect are integrated comprehensively into the work environment; maintains current competency requirements, both initial and targeted.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and up to 12 months training after high school
0 to 6 months or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience
WA State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
Good oral and interpersonal communication skills
Medical terminology
Attention to detail
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to act quickly in emergency situation
Ability to successfully practice in interdisciplinary teams
Technical skills
Knowledge of basic housekeeping functions
Work requires the ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs or less
PREFERRED
Qualifications:

year acute care CNA experience
