Our client is looking for an experienced Windows Server Administrator in the Harrisburg, PA area. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of Windows server, Windows Clusters, LAN/WAN network, DNS and IIS. Knowledge of Websphere, Domino Lotus Server and MS SQL Server is a nice to have.
NOTE: This is a temporary, long term (6-12
months) contract opportunity. Onsite interview in Harrisburg, PA required
Required
Experience:
At least 4 years of experience in General Windows Server
Familiarity with MS cluster administration, troubleshooting and support.
At least 1 year hands on experience with Active Directory, IIS and DNS.
LAN/WAN network support experience and experience configuring, troubleshooting and supporting DNS.
In-depth knowledge of PC operations, printer operations, file server operations, print server operations, and network operations.
Superior interpersonal and customer service skills required including ability to work effectively in a team environment. High level of proficiency in effective problem solving required.
Education and Certifications:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent as well as a minimum of 3 years experience or Associates degree in computer science or related field and 4 years experience.
Current MCSE Certification Required Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
