Job Description
Summary:
The Cycle Counter maintains the accuracy of our Inventory through daily proactive cycle counts, responding to discrepancies, and addresses inquiries from the team. The Cycle Counter is also involved in the physical inventories that are held throughout the year.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Count the products located in the warehouse prime and reserve locations, using an RF hand-held scanner.
Perform daily cycle counts and any necessary adjustments to inventory.
Open cartons, bundles, and other containers using hand tools.
Utilize Excel reports to report on inventory discrepancies, issues, etc.
Resolve and report discrepancies to management.
Move products from one location in the warehouse to another.
Report over under amounts and any damaged products to supervisors.
Ensure item setups, including sku, are set up in accordance to company procedures.
Work with Inventory team on physical inventories throughout the year.
Learn warehouse management system
Operate forklift or cherry pickers to move products
Follow all safety regulations and procedures
Required Skills:
High school diploma or GEDPrior inventory experience. Ability to multi-task and prioritizeStrong attention to detail Working knowledge of ExcelBilingual (English Spanish) is required.Forklift cherry picker order picker electric propane reach electric pallet jack experience is necessary.Ability to lift 60 lbs.
