Liberty Mutual Insurance Information Technology is actively searching for a Software Developer who will leverage technology to develop business solutions within the insurance industry. In this role you will develop, code, test, and debug new software or make enhancements to existing software. You will develop and enhance software from general requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities:
Focus will be on designing, developing and implementing Enterprise Content Management Solutions.
Analyzes technical system problems, and designs and implements effective solutions.
Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
May be asked to provide on-call support.
Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Consults on technical issues.
Investigates components of new tools and techniques.
Contributes to the development of project plans
Provides estimates of effort as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience developing web based applications.
Experience with Java, HTML, Eclipse, SQL
General knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies.
General knowledge of layered systems architectures, solutions and designs; general understanding of shared software concepts.
Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management concepts and best practices desired
Knowledge of EMC Documentum desired
Experience with Linux, Oracle, JBoss, Web Services, XML, JQuery, JavaScript and Spring also desired
