PURPOSE OF YOUR POSITION
Responsible for maintaining assigned area of the Hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition.
GENERAL INFORMATION
May be assignedto a specific area, such as floors, offices or surgery.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent stooping, kneeling, and climbing step-ladders up to 5 feet tall (21-50 of work time).
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time (more than 80%25%20of work time).
Work requires substantial lifting, moving, pushing, loading or unloading materials weighing up to 60 lbs (21-50%25%20of work time)
Work requires weekly, short-distance travel to the Evangelical Medical Services Organization buildings.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Universal Precautions apply.
Work frequently involves moderate environmental conditions involving exposure to chemicals (50-81%25%20of work time).
Occasionally required to be on-call for emergency situations and/or must be available for weekend or rotating shifts (6-20%25%20of work time).
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver s license and proof of insurability required.
Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.
Work requires basic computer literacy including knowledge of email, internet research, and internet navigation.
Work requires almost constant interpersonal contact to exchange information between team members and customers (more than 80%25%20of work time).
Work requires basic analytical ability to follow standard methods, guidelines and procedures (21-50%25%20of work time).
Work requires frequent mental focus and attention to detail (51-80%25%20of work time).
