Job Details:
Coordinates total nursing care for patients; participates in patient and family teaching, helping to ensure parent/infant bonding, and/or readiness for discharge; demonstrates leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program with subsequent licensure in the state of Michigan.Must have at least six months med/surg experience, prefer maternal/infant experience.
Must have current BCLS certification. Required to complete ACLS or ALSO within one year of hire into the OB unit. Must have passed NLN Basic Proficiency in Medication Administration Examination administered by Mercy Memorial Hospital education department.
Holiday, weekend,days worked, andshift start/end times may be subject to changedue to department/ patient care needs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
