Summary:
Receiving Team Members perform functions including but not limited to, receiving, returns, stocking, letdowns, selection, pallet consolidation, loading and unloading trucks.
DUTIES:
Perform receiving, stocking, selection, pallet consolidation, unloading and loading as scheduled or assigned.
Use computerized warehouse management systems to receive incoming product.
Record required arrival information such as temperature, date codes, country of origin and lot codes.
Ensure all shipping/ receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time.
Check loads for infestation, sanitation, and quality; reporting pest and safety hazards appropriately.
Check to ensure orders are complete and that proper labels and tickets are applied.
Assists in loading and unloading trucks.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner; this includes the use of powered equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Maintain warehouse in good order.
Comply with all applicable health and safety codes.
Participate in annual physical inventory or as needed.
Selection and forklift duties on an as needed basis.

REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate or GED
Ability to work well with others
Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the Distribution Center
Effective oral and written communication, must read, write and speak English
Accuracy
Self-motivated
Able to work in varying temperatures (freezers, coolers, etc) and in dusty, damp, and wet conditions.
Able to meet heavy lifting requirements.
Ability to communicate and work well with others as part of a team.
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the Distribution Center, including working late, nights and weekends as required
Essential Job Functions:
Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
