Schneider Electric'sEnergy & Sustainability Services team has a position in a group providing energy management services for enterprise software systems. These systems acquire data from customer sites nationwide, store this data in SQL databases or the cloud, and provide reporting and analysis services to the customer.
Key Job
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this position include support of hosted software most typically used in monitoring of electrical power.
Specific tasks:
Understand the energy management domain
Manage the hosted system on a daily basis to ensure its effective operation and availability to the customer
Provide first and second level technical and management support to the customer for the hosted systems
Ensure the integrity of the implementation and infrastructure
Diagnose any issues and determine the root cause
Qualifications, Essential:
Engineering / Computer Science (Software, Computer or Electrical) Degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail Oriented, Strong Problem Solving and Troubleshooting skills
Excellent Interpersonal, Verbal and Written Skills
Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team oriented, self-motivated, and results driven
Ability to work with limited direction and supervision
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and track costs
Knowledge of Schneider Electric products and services is a plus
Qualifications, Desirable:
Networking, firewalls, virtual private networks and industrial data communications
SQL Server deployment, maintenance and scripting
Cloud Computing
MS Office Suite
Internet browsers and operating systems
Microsoft IIS
Hyper-V / VMware
n-Tier Application Deployment
Web and Database script programming
