Summary:

The User Experience Engineer is a key member of the development team responsible for implementing the UX/UI, digital design and product usability for our client?s applications portfolio.
Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of User Interface, User Experience, and implementation of all digital assets.
Iteratively complete designs that meet project goals, requirements, and design needs as per research, design patterns, and UI/UX standards.
Document design solutions using sketches, wireframes, storyboards, user experience workflows, comps and interactive prototypes.
Document and maintain User Interface Guidelines and pattern libraries for application assets.
Monitor application development process to ensure application of guidelines and standardization of User Interfaces.
Work closely with Product Owners to prototype designs for user research, user testing and to help refine user stories for product backlogs.
Work with development team to successfully implement designs and resolve related issues.
Incorporate usability testing feedback into applications.
Elicit constructive feedback and capable of interpreting that feedback into design solutions.
Perform field research to discover and implement important design details that people may not realize they need.
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Desired Skills:

Minimum 3 years? experience as a user experience designer and designing creative assets for applications.
Skilled at building original web sites and applications focused on user experience.
Thought leader in user experience design and visual design.
Must have solid skills in graphic design, with an eye for typography, palette development, intuitive layout, and a pixel-level attention to detail.
Must have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to grasp multiple product requirements.
Ability to create information architecture diagrams, wire frames, prototypes, and screen flows.
Ability to solve all sorts of design challenges with creativity, efficiency and precision.
Must have solid grasp of web design principles and good understanding of current web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Etc.)
Ample online presence and solid portfolio.
Ability to rapidly produce multiple UX/UI concepts and convey these concepts in a compelling way to a non-design audience (including business, technology and sales teams).
Demonstrated custom web design skills that show creativity beyond applying third-party templates.
Able to integrate UX into Agile development practices.
A passion for semantic mark-up and standards.
Experience with front-end design, interaction design, GUI design and usability is a must-have.
Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Must be self-directed, confident and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
