Job Details:
Responsible for strategic and operational leadership for the Oncology service line. Provides oversight of the development of business, financial, personnel, and marketing plans that foster growth, while meeting patient and provider expectations. Possesses overall managerial responsibility for all aspects of Oncology services and is accountable for the operational performance, including quality of services, financial performance and competitive market position. Works closely with Medical Director to collaborate on advancing clinical outcomes and efficiency.
Viable candiates must; have excellent communication skills to include business plan preparation; be capable of conducting return on investment (ROI) analysis; have strong physician relations exemplified by follow-up, meeting attendance and effective negotiating skills; possess fiscal acumen demonstrated by development of annual budgets reflecting capital acquisition planning, staffing and operational expenses; be familiar with National Quality Measures for Breast Centers (NQMBC) and the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (ASCO - QOPI Program.
Requires Bachelor s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management Masters Degree in Nursing or Business; Five years experience in middle or higher level management. Relevant experience in oncology and experience as a practice manager strongly preferred. Appropriate professional licensure .Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
