Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Job Summary
To repair and maintain all the equipment related to the manufacturing of the product. This includes preventative maintenance of equipment as well as the troubleshooting and repair of equipment when the line experiences downtime (mechanical or electrical). Equipment includes air compressors, boilers, motors, pneumatic devices, conveyor systems, production equipment and switchgears.
Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Familiar with 480 volts 3 phase power, motor control circuits and able to read and understand schematics
Familiar with the removal and installation of bearings, bushings, and seals. Understand and have experience with all forms of mechanical motion devices including fix and variable drive
Proficient in using grinders, drill presses and other pieces of shop machinery
Familiar with arc and mig welding, oxygen, acetylene, and plasma cutting computerized maintenance program
Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus minimum of 3 years of related experience
Must make a passing score on a Mechanical and Electrical skills evaluation
Understanding gear ratios
Able to use a multi- meterEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
