Position: IT AdministratorHours: Part Time (Initially)Pay: Based on ExperiencePosition Purpose: Responsible for desk support and network administration. Will address IT emergencies and provide preventative strategies. Position is responsible for assisting in the documentation of the processes required for system's administration and maintenance.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:o Perform daily support activities to maintain IT systems: network, servers, desktops, printers and other deviceso Deploy new software and hardware as neededo Routine backups for client datao Train users and clients in the use of software, hardware, and desktops as neededo Stay current on emerging technology, and be able to provide recommendations for future technology investmentso Develop and maintain IT related documentation and procedureso Work on projects as designated by managemento Perform email, diagnosis, and routing issues, and telephone systems
Professional Competencies and
Qualifications:o 3-5
years of Network/System administration experience and/or help desko Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Google Appso Experience with firewall and Malware removalo Understanding on networking protocols, LAN and WAN configuration, and IP subnettingo Must be a clear and effective communicator with clients and staffo Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentialityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
