Responsible for supporting Treasury functions at the company's headquarters located in Novi, Michigan. Primarily focus on company's operations located in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Duties to include: global cash forecasting, daily bank account balancing, funds transfer, vendor payments, and accurate submission of information to accounting. Major functions of this job will be domestic cash management and assisting global cash forecasting and foreign exchange risk management. This position must also be highly analytical, with a focus on problem solving and creating efficiencies wherever possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Reconcilement of daily transactions and balances for US, Canada and Mexico Operations
2. Management of cash balances; optimizing daily corporate liquidity; and month-end cash reporting activities
3. Initiation of wire transfers/ACH for US, Canada, and Mexico Operations
4. Make recommendations for and execution of corporate borrowing decisions under revolver in US, Canada and Europe
5. Short term investment of excess cash balances
6. Develop North America cash forecast and manage consolidation of global cash forecast and analysis
7. Supporting execution, reporting and analysis of foreign currency (FX) transactions and global FX hedging program
8. Perform in a partnership capacity to the primary person who handles daily Mexico cash management duties to ensure proper coverage at all times for all cash throughout North America
9. Support Managers as needed in a special project capacity.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelors Degree in business with finance or accounting as a major area of study
2. Three to five years of experience in working with Weekly Cash Flow Forecast Models, financial databases, global cash management, and foreign exchange management a plus.
3. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
