About the Job
The Product Marketing Engineer in this role is responsible for managing a broad market product portfolio to drive the revenue growth of existing and new products. They are expected to plan and execute a wide range of product marketing activities to drive business growth such as:
Specific responsibilities include:
o Drive opportunities from DINs to DWINs to grow NR while maintaining profitability
o Develop sales collateral, product launches, campaigns, and Go-to-Market strategies
o Engage OEMs and Distribution globally with goal of immediate revenue generation
o Follow up weekly and monthly on opportunities; from price escalations, customer visits, sampling activity, etc.
o Manage product marketing throughout the entire product life-cycle including strategic and tactical activities such as product definition, pricing, promotion, and key customer support.
o Develop and execute product roadmaps, marketing strategies, customer presentations, business plans, sales/FAE training, and product launch plans.
o Develop and execute to a quarterly and annual forecast
o Identify and recommend new product development opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, competitive positioning, and financial analysis. Collaborate with other job functions such as design, product definers, product engineering, etc. to define and develop the product
o Ensure consistent application of positioning and messaging strategy across all components of the marketing mix
o Develop competitive analyses and positioning strategies
o Developing product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market, including finding adjacent markets and customers
o Collaborating and communicating the product strategies effectively to cross functional teams - price, campaigns, internet marketing, launch etc.
Minimum Requirements:
o Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience
o Experience driving a broad market portfolio across 1000
customers via distribution and sales engagement
