Description: Oregon Community Credit Union has an opening for a Special Services Title Representative in the Eugene area. The Special Services Title Representative administrates all phases of the lien process on titled collateral, and assist with garnishments and levies.
Duties: Job
Responsibilities:
1. Track and process all titles to items used as collateral on loans, ensuring that titles are received and the Credit Union''s lien is perfected in a timely manner.
2. Coordinate the processing of loan pay-offs when the release of the Credit Union''s lien on titled collateral is required. Ensure that title documents are sent to the party authorized to pay off the loan in a timely manner. Coordinate the release of collateral title documents that have satisfied the Credit Union''s lien.
3. Follow up in cases where titles on collateral have not been received and/or the title with the Credit Union''s lien perfection has not been submitted to the proper titling agency. Keep complete and accurate records of all communication in these efforts. Coordinate any collection action necessary to obtain title documents or make demands for payment in full as necessary.
4. Issue notices to Branch Managers for corrective action when discrepancies are discovered in title or loan documents; ensure that corrections are made and that the Credit Union maintains a valid lien in collateral.
5. Support Collections, Special Services and the Underwriting Departments with document preparation, transactions, Payment processing and loan funding.
6. Handle garnishments and levies on member-s accounts as necessary.
7. Must follow all BSA regulations, including completing CTR reports when applicable, reporting suspicious activity via SAR when applicable and completing annual training.
8. Serve as backup to CPI Specialist.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
Education:
Equivalent to a high school education.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
