Experience with Sun Solaris Servers
Database Systems performance, capacity monitoring and planning
5 years of Database Administration or related application development which includes experience in analysis and programming, file access methods, connectivity/telecommunications, automation, integration, and processing recovery technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to escalate to management and communicate with other groups within IT and with end users
Database Upgrades & Maintenance. Ensure systems remain at operational excellence during infrastructure improvements (hardware upgrades, server migrations, OS upgrades, etc.)
Responsible for meeting project schedule deadlines
Compliance with corporate and regulatory audit best practices (SOX, ISAP, GCP, and CCR) including maintenance of up to date documentation of database infrastructure.
Understand and ensure adherence to production support and related service level. agreements and polices. Includes all compliance and other regulators needs.
Implementations to the PROD, MO, & DR environments.
Database disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Databases patching experience
Responsible for database password resets, disk space management, & tuningEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
