A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a Business Analyst to join our team in Augusta, ME.
We are looking for a strong business analyst that can work with business teams to understand requirements, lead discussions to elicit requirements and to translate that into a system design.
This opportunity is for creating OBIEE dashboard designs and it is data centric so the candidates must have a unique blend of skills that can do the UI design along with a strong understanding of databases and data models.
Job Level Specific Duties
Translates data into usable design solutions and leverages results to spark focused design efforts.
Integrates Human Factors Engineering principles to the design and development process, accounting for perceptual, physical, and cognitive abilities in the usage of products and services.
Represents the needs and preferences of the end user throughout the design and development process.
Defines & executes the necessary behavioral studies to guide the design process (e.g., yielding both qualitative and quantitative data).
Performs a variety of data analysis techniques to surface insights that are actionable and can be applied to the design process.
Communicates project status and issues to cross-functional team members.
Executes prescribed tasks with minimal guidance and solicits input and assistance as necessary from mentors/senior staff.
Required Skills:
5 years'' experience in Business Analysis (Requirements Gathering & Requirements Management)
2 years'' experience in Agile methodologies
2 years'' experience in Data Visualization
This is a full-time salaried position with a group company within NTT DATA. Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors will NOT be considered.
