Job Description
Summary:The Property Manager is responsible for maintaining the unit s quality and communicating effectively with unit owners in this regard.The Property Manager will be responsible for optimizing unit quality and balancing the investment of the owner with expectations of the guest.S/he will provide input on establishing property management housekeeping & engineering procedures and ensuring that all policies and procedures related to property management operations are adhered to by all property management staff.

TheProperty Managershall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Wild Dunes Resort Culture as well as promoting Wild Dunes Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!
Essential job FUNCTIONS:
Inspect each vacation rental property for maintenance and housekeeping needs relating to hard goods, soft goods, and overall furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance management in effectively addressing unit issues based upon occupancy and seasonality
Act as a liaison with community regime managers in matters effecting regime controlled areas of owner property
Interact and represent self as a leader of the resort
Meet with owners while on property to maintain positive relations
Maintain monthly communication with owners as designated by the Director of PM
Maintain accurate files for related correspondence
Responsible for exterior and interior maintenance inspections for all homes and villas
Ongoing reporting and input data regarding both minor and major maintenance issues
Become knowledgeable of Wild Dunes unit standards and offer owners suggestions for upgrades
Coordinate unit upgrades with homeowners, contractors and staff
Assist owners with Resort operational concerns such as housekeeping and engineering
Inspect potential new condos for program quality standards
Coordinate daily vacation rental operational needs with front office.
Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons).
Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
Attend all monthly and required resort meetings
Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Wild Dunes Resort dress code standards.
Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times.
Associate is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications eXPERIENCE & eDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Two or four year degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience in resort-orientated property management or hospitality industry required
Certified Manager of Community Associations preferred
Prior AAA Four Diamond Standards experience preferred
At least two years supervisory experience preferred
Job REQUIRMENTS:
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
Must have excellent phone etiquette
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must have strong computer skills
Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Must be able to work well under pressure
Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written

Must possesses excellent communication skills
Must be professional in appearance and demeanor

Working CONDITIONS:
Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking
Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs with assistance
Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)
Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)
