The Challenge
Our seek top talent for a Technology Integration Engineer /Specialist opening. Candidate may work out of our Client Office in Springfield Virginia.
Principle Areas of Responsibility
Develop understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, Lighting, and all Systems in a building to integrate Systems into intelligent Building Automation Systems.
Work with Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Disciplines to develop Building Automation System Designs and Specifications using Archibus.
Develop a working knowledge of Various Building Automation Systems (BAS) to apply in the desire and specifications for a variety of projects.
Participate in commissioning and Retro-Commissioning projects.
Perform Site visits, onsite surveys, construction/installation observation, and prepare Field Reports for local and nationwide projects.
Participate in Energy related projects including LEED, Energy Audits, and Utility Monitoring Systems.
Proficient in designing BAS with Open protocols including LonWorks, BACnet, and Modbus.
Proficient in System Integration and enterprise level Building Automation components like Archibus, Niagara/Tridium.
Read and understand control sequences, develop control flow diagrams, define points lists and write specifications.
Work in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office programs.
The Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We Seek:
College graduate with a Bachelor''s Degree in General, Systems, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Six to 10 years of experience.
AutoCAD training in School or on the job required.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Experience with typical manufacturers/products such as Automated Logic, Honeywell, Siemens, Niagara/Tridium, etc.
Understanding of network topologies and protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks and Ethernet
Must have a TS/SCI Active Security Clearance
